New York: State of the art Data-Center offers complete redundancy in power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity, and security. Over 6 Gbit of redundant capacity links this facility to the Internet and the rest of the Fitser Web Services Data-Centers. All equipment is provided Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) continuous power with on-site generator backup that can power the entire facility within 8 seconds. the on-site generator stores over 48 hours of fuel, and local company contracts provide refueling promptly during any extended power outage like the case of the North East power grid failure in the summer of 2002. Fire suppression and protection is provided by an FM200 based extinguishing system, tied into a state of the art VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus). Biometric scanning devices are at every access point, and 24x7 video surveillance monitors both he data-center floor and all access points.
New York Redundant Carrier Connections
The New York facility is directly connected at gigabit speeds to the primary network which consists of multiple OC192 (9.6 Gbit each) diverse path fiber optic SONET rings, and a direct backup OC48 (2.5 Gigabit) SONET ring which connects to a separate carrier. The Edge network is made up of Juniper M series routers, and the internal core network consists of redundant cisco switches and routers which are specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of today's high-traffic networks. In 2007 capacity upgrades were completed which enable Fitser Web Services to offer 1000 Mbit (GigE) network connections to server and colocation clients. Redundant in-building carrier connections are made to several carrier backbones providing fault tolerance and redundancy to:

Texas Data Centre: The Dallas, Texas state of the art Data-Center offers complete redundancy in power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity, and security. With over 35,000 sq ft of raised floor. The data-center facility sits atop multiple power grids driven by TXU electric, with PowerWare UPS battery backup power and dual diesel generators on-site. The HVAC systems are condenser units by Data Aire to provide redundancy in cooling coupled with 10 managed backbone providers. Twelve more third party backbone providers are available in the building via cross connect. Fire suppression includes a pre-action dry pipe system including VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) with over 500 smoke detectors.

California Data-Center: The San Francisco, California state of the art Data-Center offers complete redundancy in power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity, and security. Built on a strategically located campus, near downtown San Francisco, it represents 15 acres of prime urban real estate. The facility has over 337,000 square feet of space in a seismically secure concrete structure. The factuality provides enterprise class security systems, redundant climate control systems, three levels of fire detection/protection, advanced seismic design, abundant backed-up AC & DC power systems with diesel generator backups and 24/7 monitoring of all critical infrastructure
California Redundant Carrier Connections
The California data-center network core is powered by a Cisco Systems 12000 series GSR (Gigabit Switch-Router), which is specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of today's high-traffic networks. The core network is connected via Gigabit Ethernet to the edge network, which is 100-percent switched by Cisco Catalyst 3500 and 6500 series equipment. Multiple Gigabit Ethernet fiber backbones provide fault tolerance and redundancy to:
